The Brandon Community Center offers programming for all ages, from toddlers to senior citizens. The center schedules classes, athletics, after-school and preschool programming, special events and field trips to offsite lunch and area attractions.

The center is part of the Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department and is open to all citizens living in Hillsborough County. Most participants come from the Greater Brandon/Valrico area but a good number of people also come from Riverview, Mango, Tampa and Plant City.

The center serves a growing senior citizen base with programs, clubs and groups that appeal to a variety of interests and social needs. When temperatures dip to around 30 degrees, the center becomes a county shelter for people without homes or heat.

The center's director, Marty Bradley has been with the center for over 25 years. The Brandon Community Center is adjacent to the Brandon Recreation Center and together it sits on a 21-acre site. Programs and offerings are shared between the two facilities.

Facilities include four tennis courts, four multipurpose courts, three softball fields, an open play area, playground, two sand volleyball courts and a fitness room.
