The South Shore Anglers will host the 2012 1-Lure for Horses to benefit RVR Horse Rescue of Riverview. Sponsored by Loadmaster Trailers, Wang Anchor Systems and Dream Inn, the tournament will kick off Nov. 11 with a captain's meeting at 7 p.m. at S & S Taco, 10664 U.S. 301 S., Riverview. Weigh-in will take place at 3 p.m. Dec. 1 at South Shore Bait & Tackle.
The $25 entry fee will help buy a horse trailer for RVR Horse Rescue. There will be an adult division and a kids division for age 15 years and under.
First prize is a $500 certificte from Loadmaster Trailers for the longest combined trout and red. Second prize is a Wang Anchor system for longest trout. And third prize is a gift certificate to Dream Inn in Ana Maria for the longest red.
