A black heritage celebration will take place at the Brandon Senior Center. Hillsborough County residents who are 50 plus are welcome and encourage to participate. The day will be filled with performances by the KUUMBA group, steel drums and poetry readings. We are asking that you RSVP a day in advance by calling the center at: (813) 635-8064.
In addition, Aging Services offers a variety of activities for older adults 50 and up. The department has more than 20 congregate dining sites and eight senior centers that can provide a hot nutritious noon time meal for those over the age of 60. We require an advance registration for the meal.

Hillsborough County Senior Adult Day Care / Senior Center is a program of the Hillsborough County Department of Aging. The center provides opportunities for those 60 and over to participate in the many events and activities that it offers, including bingo, exercise, arts and crafts, and computer classes. The center also has adult day care programs and many support groups.
