"In Surrealism\, this is known as biomorphism. However\, de picting the landscape\, along with its weather and seasons is very impor tant to me from an emotional perspective."\nMcCarthy\, originally from K alamazoo\, Mich.\, said he's also influenced by music and childhood memo ries of snow and ice in winter. \;\n"There are even places around my neighborhood in Brandon I use as inspiration for my landscapes\, which I then embellish\," he said.
