 ne 1-27. \n"I like to draw and paint spontaneous organic imagery\," said
  McCarthy. "In Surrealism\, this is known as biomorphism.   However\, de
 picting the landscape\, along with its weather and seasons is very impor
 tant to me from an emotional perspective."\nMcCarthy\, originally from K
 alamazoo\, Mich.\, said he's also influenced by music and childhood memo
 ries of snow and ice in winter.&nbsp\;\n"There are even places around my
  neighborhood in Brandon I use as inspiration for my landscapes\, which 
 I then embellish\," he said. "Also\, I am enamored by the images I see o
 f gardens and ruins from around the world and especially those of the Br
 itish Isles\, with their fairytale rolling hills and hedgerows."\nReside
 nts are invited to meet the artist at a reception Thursday\, June 14\, f
 rom 5:30 to 7 p.m.\nGallery hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.
