My favorite type of food is soup. All kinds of soups:  cold, hot, cream, broth.  I try soup wherever I am.  I just came back from two month trip going from India to Norway.  Everywhere I went, I ate soup.  I had some very good ones but the best soups that I have ever had are right here in Hillsborough County.  Brandon Ale House has absolutely the best lobster bisque.  Willie's Fish Camp has crab soup to die for.  Mama's Kitchen on South Dale Mabry, south of Gandy, near MacDill, has great soups.  The best ones are the cream of spinach and cream of seafood soup.  The German Bistro on MacDill Ave. has great potato soup.  I had a great trip but I am so glad that my favorite food type is right here in the local area.  Try one or more of them some time.
