Hillsborough, Pinellas Voters Can Still Get Mail-in Ballots
Hillsborough and Pinellas County voters who missed early voting can still vote with mail-in ballots, but they have to pick them up and make sure they are back at an elections office by 7 pm Tuesday.
The ballots are available Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
Hillsborough will offer ballots from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Robert L. Gilder Elections Service Center, 2514 N. Falkenburg Road.
Hillsborough ballots also are available Sunday:
- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Voter Registration and Education Drive at Hyde Park Market, 1621 W. Snow Circle, Tampa.
- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Voter Registration and Education Drive at Tampa Downtown Market in Curtis Hixon Park, 600 N. Ashley Drive, Tampa.
Ballots also are available at the four Hillsborough elections offices from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.
Between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday, Pinellas voters may obtain or return mail-in ballots at any of the three sites of early voting:
- Election Service Center, Starkey Lakes Corporate Center, 13001 Starkey Road, Largo.
- Pinellas County Courthouse, 315 Court St., Room 117
Clearwater.
- County Building, 501 First Ave. N., St. Petersburg.
Don't mail the mail-in ballots. They must be returned to the county by 7 p.m. Tuesday. For more information, Pinellas voters should call (727) 464-VOTE (8683).

I will second the thanks for the great information. However, I will add that Gov. Scott and the GOP-controlled Florida legislature need to be held accountable for their actions in reducing early voting days. Frankly, any GOP candidate who did not immediately condemn Gov. Scott's failure to add early voting days should also pay a penalty in losing support from the voters they inconvenienced. Creating a situation where people stood in long lines or were turned away at early voting sites is truly indefensible in the United States. The increased rejection rate of absentee ballots makes the compromise described in the article suspect as a solution. Florida's voting system is broken, has been broken for many years and the only solution is to put a non-partisan professional in charge. Hey, Gov, Scott, here is an opportunity to privatize which can't possibly product worse experiences than occur now under your leadership.,
