Your Patch Photo of the Week
Each week we feature a photo from a reader. Upload you photos to Bloomingdale-Riverview Patch and you could be featured next week.
This photo snapped by a Patch reader shows a common sight in this area: turkey vultures roosting in community groups on dead tree limbs, awaiting fresh road kill. While they aren't know for their beauty, the turkey vulture does perform a service, cleaning up carrion along local roads, and it is a protected species under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918.
If you have an awesome photo of nature, breath-taking scenery, kids caught being kids, a pet doing something funny or something unusual you happen to catch with your camera, we'd love to feature it on Patch. Just click the Upload Photo button.
