Services Set for Brandon Teen Killed in Rollover Crash

He loved cooking, playing baseball, skateboarding, swimming and video games.
But, most of all, Tyler Michael Stich of Brandon loved spending time with his friends and family.
Now those friends and family will gather to say goodbye to the teen who was killed in a car crash Friday, June 15 on Kings Avenue, south of Bloomingdale Avenue.
A visitation for Stich will be held Saturday, June 23 at 6 p.m. at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon. A service will follow at 7:30 p.m.
Stich reportedly died when the Ford Explorer he was riding in left the road and overturned. Stich, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the back seat. The SUV landed on top of him, killing him instantly, according to reports from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
Michael Kryder, 16, the driver, and the others in the vehicle suffered "only minor injuries," according to the report. Kryder had not been cited.
Stich was a student at the South County Career Center in Ruskin, where he was studying culinary arts.
Friends have been visiting the crash scene all week, leaving tributes and remembrances of Stich at a roadside memorial.
Stich leaves behind his mother, Tara Running; his father, Mick Stich; siblings, Kayla Stich, Hunter Stich, Cameron Stich, Joshua Blakey and Jasmin Stich; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Steiner; paternal grandparents, Mitchell Stich, Julie Smith and husband Kenny; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
