Mosaic Steps Up With Aid for Frost Elementary School
The company is going to make a $5,000 donation and employees will be collecting school supplies for teachers affected by a fire at Frost Elementary School in Riverview.
The Mosaic company is going to make a $5,000 donation to Frost Elementary School in Riverview, after a July 28 fire caused up to $400,000 in damages to a classroom wing, according to Linda Cobbe, a spokesperson for the Hillsborough County School District.

"We're going to make a $5,000 donation," said Chris Smith, community relations manager for the Mosaic company and its FishHawk offices and Riverview plant.
In addition, she added, employees every year participate in a back-to-school drive to collect school supplies for area schools.
"Because of the fire, we went to the employees and told them this is an urgent situation," Smith said. "Our employees typically are very caring and we're hoping we can help out both with a donation from the company and with our employees making school supply donations."
