The county announced that construction is taking place on the following local roads, which may result in lane closures.
- Big Bend Road from Lincoln Road to Interstate 75 will be under construction until April 26 to install turn lanes.
- Falkenburg Road at Broadway will be under construction until March 1 to install detectors.
- Falkenburg Road at Queen Palm Drive will be under construction until March 1 to install detectors.
- John Moore Road from Woodale Road to Hickory Creek Boulevard will be under construction until Aug. 30 to install storm pipe, asphalt and sod.
- Montclair Avenue from State Road 60 to Wilbur Street will be under construction until March 11 for equipment transfer.
- Morrison Road from Brandon Boulevard to Oakfield Drive will be under construction until May 30 for pond drainage improvements.
- Rhodine Road from the bikers trail to Boyette Road will be under construction until Feb. 21 to replace a pole.
