A calendar item on Bloomingdale-Riverview Patch listing children's lacrosse lessons at the Bloomingdale West Recreation Center, 3940 Canoga Park Dr., Brandon, is incorrect.

Jackie Brown of the parks department said there is no Hillsborough County-sanctioned lacrosse program at the park.

Anyone wishing to use county parks facilities for classes or programs must have the approval of the parks department. Residents can contact Brown at 813-653-3520.

While Bloomingdale-Riverview Patch encourages residents to post their own calendar items, residents should first receive the approval of the host site.

Patch regrets any inconvenience caused by the calendar item.
