Community Bank Changes Name to C1 Bank

Community Bank, which has a branch on U.S. 301 in Riverview, announced it would change its name effective May 1.

announced the C1 Bank will be the new name of Community Bank & Company effective May 1.

Locally, the bank is located at 10109 U.S. 301 S., Riverview.

The Community Bank name has served us well for the past 16 years and we are all excited about our new name and what it represents for our clients and for our community," said chairman Bill Sedgeman. "The C1 Bank name embodies the ideals on which I founded the bank in 1995."

All 18 locations will be re-branded as C1 Bank effective May 1. Upon closed of the acquisition of Palm Bank, its three locations will operate under the C1 Bank brand.

The name change does not reflect a change of ownership but rather a dedication by its owners to differentiate C1 Banks's unique brand of first-class service coupled with fast local decision-making.

The Riverview branch is located just south of the Gibsonton Drive/Boyette Road light on the west side of U.S. 301 at the entrance to Lowes Home Improvement Warehouse.
