Buddy's Owner Lost His Home; Now the Rat Terrier Needs a New One
Buddy is a 6-year-old rat terrier who loves to cuddle.
Buddy was given up to an animal shelter after his owner lost his home. The shelter was planning to euthanize the 6-year-old rat terrier who was deemed too old to be adoptable when Heidi's Legacy Dog Rescue stepped in and rescued the little guy.
Now the pet rescue is seeking a permanent home for Buddy.
He foster mom says Buddy is very sweet and friendly, loving both children and adults as well as other dogs. He loves car rides, trips to the doggie park, long walks and cuddling.
"Buddy is the ultimate little companion, with a deep, sensitive soul and fierce loyalty," said his foster mom, Sue. "If there ever was an appropriate name for him, it is Buddy. He truly is a great little dog."
He's a healthy little guy who has been neutered, vaccinated, is heartworm negative and microchipped. He is house broken and crate trained.
