Albertsons is Out; What Should Go In?
What business would you like to see in the building that previously housed Albertsons?
The closing of Albertsons at 3313 Lithia-Pinecrest Rd,, Valrico, earlier this month left a big vacancy at the Valrico Centre Shoppes at the intersection of Lithia-Pinecrest and Miller roads.
The store was among 13 Albertsons closed around the state as part of a corporate downsizing.
So, what would you like to see occupy the 56,000-square-foot space left vacant by Albertsons? An Aldi Market? How about Trader Joe's?

I would love a Whole Foods, Fresh Market or Trader Joe's! We also have a vacancy in Brandon where the old Borders used to be...that would be a perfect spot for one of these places also.

I love Trader Joe's. There's one near my sister's house in St. Louis and I go there whenever I'm in town. We definitely need one in this area.

Lecia, Trader Joe's is a specialty grocery store where you can find foods that no other store carries. They have a lot of Vegan and Gluten-Free products, too.
