Marion “Carl” Ramga, 87, of Riverview passed away on Saturday, July 7.

Born in Lima, Ohio, Ramga had been a local resident for 21 years. He was a retired accountant for Gulf Oil Co., a United States Army WWII veteran and a member of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church.

Ramga enjoyed woodworking and was an avid reader.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Betty Jean; sons, David (Julie) Ramga, Daniel Ramga; brother Wayne Ramga; sister, Thelma First; grandchildren, Derek Ramga; Devin (Amber) Ramga; Army Sgt. William Ramga, Marine Corps Sgt. Steven Ramga, .; great-grandchildren, Trisha Ramga, Sean Ramga, Davis Ramga and Dylan Ramga.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 12, at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, 3315 Bryan Rd., Brandon.
