Eliseus R. Santos, 73, died peacefully at home on Nov. 30, surrounded by his family.

He was born on Sept. 22, 1939, in Manhattan, N.Y., and spent his last years in Lithia. He served in the U.S. Navy and then graduated from Pace University.

He married Myrna (Leon) Santos on Feb. 27, 1965. They have one child, Frederica Guzzetta, and one grandchild, Rosemarie Grace Guzzetta.

Santos is also survived by his brothers, Raymond and Joseph; his sisters, Mary Santos and Carmen Lydia DiLandro; many nieces and nephews; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carmen Santos; his sister, Carmen Raquel Santos; and his friend, Morty Shapiro.

He will be remembered for his generosity, his sense of humor, his accomplished writing and painting and for his unconditional love for his family and friends.
